The reason we chose Shelly is because she is the first champion available to all the players, and she is the one you use in tutorials and more. In this guide, I will teach you about Shelly’s playstyle and build in Brawl Stars game.
How to play Shelly from Brawl Stars
She is a starter brawler and every player will be using her during the tutorial and their first few games.
Shelly is a close-range high-damage dealing brawler. She wields a shotgun and does massive damage at close range.
Her basic attack is the Buckshot. Shelly fires a burst of pellets. These pellets by themselves do not deal a lot of damage, but a lot of them together will deal critical damage to the enemy. There is a spread to the pellets, so the farther the enemy, the lesser the damage.
Shelly’s Super-ability is called the Super Shell. She fires a high-damaging burst of pellets, which will damage and knock back the enemies. Again, since it is still a shotgun shell, it deals more damage at close range and less damage at long range. Super Shell can also destroy obstacles on the map.
Best Build for Shelly
Gadgets
For gadgets, I recommend you go with the Clay Pigeons. Once activated, Shelly’s basic attacks for the next 5 seconds will have improved spread and range. This should make up for her weakness in long-range combat.
Star Powers
Choose Band-Aid as her star power. This is a good healing power that allows you to stay on the field longer. Whenever your health falls below 40%, you will automatically heal for 2200 health.
Gears
For gears, choose Speed Gear as your first option. You will have increased movement speed in the bushes. For your second gear, you can either go with the Damage Gear if you’re playing on a map with a lot of open space or go with the Vision Gear on a map with a lot of bushes.
Damage Gear allows you to deal 15% extra damage when you’re low on health, and Vision Gear allows you to reveal the enemies hiding in the bushes whenever you attack them with your gadget and star power.
A few tips for playing Shelly
Bushes are your best friend; hide in the bushes and surprise attack your enemies at close range.
Take advantage of the corners and play near them; you excel at dealing damage at close ranges and avoid roaming in the open space.
Your Super can not only deal damage but also break the obstacles in the map, and you can use it wisely to make unexpected plays.
Do not engage long-range brawlers without a proper game plan; they are your counters. Play along in the bushes and corners, and wait for them to approach you.
Shelly is the most beginner-friendly and straight-forward character in Brawl Stars game; we recommend that you learn the game using her, and you can later switch to different brawlers slowly.
You can either grind through the game to unlock new brawlers or simply buy Brawl Stars account from U7BUY for the cheapest price, gain an advantage over the other players and start dominating the Brawl Stars.
